TIKIL GOMEN
Cabbage cooked with onion and green pepper
ATKILT WOT
Fresh carrots, potatoes, string beans and green pepper cooked with turmeric powder and spices.
MISIR WOT
Split lentils cooked with onions, berbere (hot pepper), garlic and spices.
KIK ALICHA
Split peas coloured to yellow, cooked with onions, green pepper, garlic, & ginger.
GOMEN
Spinach or Slver beet cooked with onion and green pepper.
SHIMBRAASA
Chickpeas powder and some bake into shapes, cooked with water, oil, berbere (hot pepper) and spices.
BEYAYNETU
Combination of tikil gomen, atkilt wot, kik alicha, gomen, shimbraasa and salad.
All above are served with injera (Ethiopian bread) |
